Maine Turnpike Authority Executive Director Peter Mills, the man charged with rescuing the controversial organization from a widely publicized 2011 management scandal, will discuss tolls, the gas tax and the failure of transportation politics. In addition, the former State Senator and candidate for Maine governor will speak about the role of the MTA in welcoming visitors to Maine, the challenges of moving traffic into and around our state, reviving the Interstate Bridge Authority, and the competitive procurement of services for public agencies.
